There was a strong turnout at the ANSCLO meeting held on June 11, 2018. A total of 14 directors and members attended. Each member network has the option to have one administrator and one board member admitted to the ANSCLO Board, and currently there are two network board representatives attending regularly.
Shirley Vigneault from Équipe offered use of their network’s computer-based Zoom platform to assist those who wanted to attend the meeting remotely, and nine attendees joined the meeting in this way. MetroWorks offered use of meeting space for those who attended in person.
In addition to sharing information from various networks around the province, there were discussions related to the Nova Scotia School for Adult Learning (NSSAL) “renewal” process, training available to coordinators on Skills Online, network sick leave policies, the recently introduced ANSCLO membership fee as well as the 10th anniversary Annual General Meeting proposed for October.
